Trigger Point Therapy Performance RE-GENeration Workshop

What is Trigger Point Performance Therapy?

Is a technique of applying pressure to a specified area in the body in order to target specific muscles and create a situation where the muscle is forced to relax and a spasm is relieved. When using Trigger Point’s Performance tools, three to five minutes of pressure within each muscle group is all that is needed to initiate this technique. The method is recommended before and after workouts, races and prior to stretching. These products are not just for athletes; Trigger Point recommends using the TP Massage Ball, Footroller, Quadball and the Grid for anyone who wishes to bring self massage into their home to aid in the relief or prevention of aches and pains.

Trigger Point Therapy Performance RE-GENeration Workshop

The RE-GENeration workshop delivers a revolutionary new way to care for your body from the inside out. The self-massage movements are intuitive and help connect mind, body leaving your clients feeling revitalized and powerful. Clients take the time to build muscles strength for a healthier life and body, but Trigger Point Trainers can show them how self-massage will compliment those efforts - relieving stress in the body and invigorating tired muscles.

Workshop Description

When it comes to the biomechanics of the body, people tend to forget that muscles enable the body to move. Every bone has a muscle that surrounds it, and every joint has a muscle and a tendon that supports it, so if you don’t take care of the muscles, how can you rely on them to enable your body to move efficiently through life? The RE-GENeration Workshop is a four hour workshop, ideal for anyone who wants to learn a basic overview on human biomechanics and muscular structure pertaining to athletics, common injury prevention and basic Trigger Point Performance Therapy techniques. You will learn how to use the Trigger Point Performance Therapy products to not only treat your muscles effectively but to help get rid of common overuse injuries like plantar fasciitis, sciatica, lower back pain and IT band syndrome, and also to recover better and faster from workouts.

Course Outcomes

  • Participants attending the four hour workshop will be introduced to the following concepts:
  • Methodology of Trigger Point Performance Therapy;
  • Myofascial Compression Techniques and Self-Myofascial Release;
  • Programming with the TP Massage Ball, TP Footballer, TP Quadballer;
  • Injury biomechanics relating to the 6 areas: Soleus, Quads, IT Band, Psoas, Piriformis, and Pectorals;
